namun rasanya -waktu- cepat sekali berlalu. kejutan bermula dari datangnya 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik - Red Hot Chilli Peppers'. gaya funk yang dibawa mereka sulit untuk ditolak. setelah itu, tanpa terasa trend musik mengalami 'distorsi', secara tiba-tiba serak vocal & gitar ala Grunge mulai marak dimana-mana. ini terjadi terutama pasca album milik Pearl Jam (Ten), Nirvana (Never Mind) dan Radiohead (Pablo Honey) beredar gencar dipasaran. beranjak dari situ hingga menuju pertengahan 90-an wajah rock berubah. dan semakin drastis perubahannya manakala band-band baru asal inggris : Oasis, Blur, atau Suede sedang pada puncaknya. tanpa basa-basi, britpop meluluhkan hati para remaja 90-an.
